Too many bugs can really spoil that great pool party or BBQ event you planned so carefully. Mosquitoes, gnats, biting flies, ants, and other pests can take the fun right out of any outdoor activity.
WHICH PLANTS REPEL MOSQUITOES AND OTHER INSECTS?
Essential oils in certain plants act as nature’s bug repellent. Insects tend to avoid them. Why not plant them around your yard or put some pots of them on your deck or patio to ward off the biters? Here are a few plants that we have found repel the bugs:
Use a soft wood timber, such as pine, to make your kindling, as the resinous character makes it much easier for lighting fires. Kindling runs out relatively quickly, so it’s always best to prepare a large bucketful all at once rather than make only enough for a single fire
